What a great last day of term at MPS!
Students, staff and parents dressed in pink as a mark of respect to all of our school and staff families impacted by Breast Cancer. We had a pink-themed breakfast club, a walk-a-thon (500 kms walked!) and sausage sizzle to raise funds for Breast Cancer research. All capped off with a viewing of the Socceroos match.
We LOVE our community!

MOOLAP PRIMARY SCHOOL 150TH ANNIVERSARY COMING 2027
As you may be aware, next year we celebrate the 150th anniversary of Moolap Primary School.
Recently we were contacted by Rob Wright who is writing a book on the soldiers on the school’s WW1
Honour Board in readiness of the coming anniversary. He has contacted the school to say there are 3 men who cannot be positively identified by the WW1 Service Records and has
requested if there is any chance that any locals (or local descendants of the men) knowing additional details on the names they enlisted under, where
they lived at the time, or any other identifying facts.
The information we have so far of the men is as follows:
1. William J Brown, Moolap SS c.1906 aged 12ish, mother Margaret.
2. Albert Morrison, guardian William Silk, Moolap SS prior to 1906.
3. Henry Joseph Pannowitz, Moolap SS c.1906, mother Rosa, also on Shire of Sth Barwon Honor Roll.
If you do have any information Rob would love to hear from you before the book goes to print.
Please send him an email via [email protected]

Students from Moolap Primary School regularly visit residents at Whitehaven Nursing Home throughout the year, sharing activities, conversations and special moments together.

This week, the residents kindly sent along beautifully hand-knitted teddy bears for our Prep students. As you can see from the photos, the thoughtful gifts were warmly welcomed and very much loved by the children.

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing connection between our students and the residents, and for the care and kindness shown to our school community.

What a special ANZAC Day Service we held today. The MPS community gathered in front of our Remembrance Garden to pay our respects to those who have served our country so bravely during times of conflict. Special thanks to our school leaders and Student Voice Representatives for hosting the time of reflection.
Lest We Forget.
