Montville State School is situated high in the Blackall Ranges, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The school is situated in the main street of Montville village. Montville State School was founded in 1896 and offers quality education for Prep to Year 6 for approximately 100 students. We pride ourselves on our strong community spirit and the nurturing, stimulating and natural environment we provide for all students.

Today we joined in the National Simultaneous Story-time, this is an annual Australian event where millions of children read the exact same picture book at the same at 12:00 pm AEST. The chosen book for 2026 was Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake A. Minton.
