School-Grown Popcorn ๐ฟ๐ฝโจ
From seed to snack! Last year, our Grade 5 students chose to grow the beautiful Glass Gem corn in our kitchen garden, and what a surprise it turned out to be โ itโs perfect for popping! ๐คฉ
This term, we harvested our colourful corn, popped it in class, and watched in amazement as the kernels transformed into a delicious, crunchy snack. ๐ฟ
To top it all off, we packaged and sold some of our homegrown popcorn at our Mini Market, where lucky customers got to take home a taste of our garden-to-table learning. ๐ฑโก๏ธ๐ฟ
A fantastic example of students growing, harvesting, creating, and sharing the rewards of their hard work. Well done, Grade 5s! ๐๐
