We were excited to be back for our Friday Mandarin session today!

Through meaningful and engaging learning experiences, the children revisited the clothing vocabulary introduced in previous lessons. Using drawing, interactive games, and visual recognition strategies, children strengthened their understanding of Mandarin words and characters by connecting them to familiar shapes, symbols, and real-life experiences.

Today's vocabulary included: 👕 衣服 (yī fu) – Clothes, 🩳 裤子 (kù zi) – Pants/Shorts, 👗 裙子 (qún zi) – Skirt, 🧦 袜子 (wà zi) – Socks, 👟 鞋子 (xié zi) – Shoes.

These experiences supported the children in developing confidence as communicators, extending their language skills, and engaging in active learning through play and exploration.

By making meaningful connections between spoken language, written characters, and everyday items, children were encouraged to build their cultural awareness and language understanding in a fun and supportive environment.
