Last Friday our Monash girls teamed up with a couple of legends from Glossop Community School and hit Berri Oval for the ๐–๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ ๐’๐ก๐ข๐ž๐ฅ๐ ๐†๐ข๐ซ๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐…๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐›๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐š๐ฅ.

For some, it was a brand new sport. Five rounds later? Tackling, kicking goals, chasing possessions and even throwing in a celebratory jig. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

They finished with 2 ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ 5 but the real win was watching that confidence grow with every game.

Plenty of determination. Plenty of dirt. Plenty of laughs. And absolutely no fear of a bit of contact! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ

Teaming up with our friends from ๐†๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฉ ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ, we fielded ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ ๐ญ๐ž๐š๐ฆ๐ฌ and they certainly made their mark.

๐Ÿ‘ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐€ ๐ญ๐ž๐š๐ฆ went ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ž๐Ÿ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ž๐. ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ 4 ๐ ๐š๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ and not conceding a single goal! Unfortunately, goal difference kept them out of the Grand Final... proof that sport can be cruel sometimes! ๐Ÿ’”

๐Ÿ‘ ๐๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐ ๐ญ๐ž๐š๐ฆ showed plenty of grit, finishing the day with 2 ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ, 1 ๐๐ซ๐š๐ฐ ๐š๐ง๐ 1 ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ.
