How to nominate yourself for SNAPS committee (2026/27) – swipe through 👉

Whether you’re keen to run or just want to know what’s involved, here’s everything you need to know before the AGM.

Not running? You’re still welcome to come along and be part of it – all SNAPS members can attend. Just remember, to vote on the day you’ll need to be an eligible member (7+ days by the AGM date).

Thinking about running? Make sure you’re eligible, sort out your nominator and seconder, and get your form in by 25 August so we can stay organized ahead of the big day. Missed deadline? You can still nominate yourself live at the AGM!

Want to help shape the future of SNAPS? Our AGM is coming up and we’re on the hunt for passionate Snappies to join the committee!

🗓️Day: Thursday 27th August 2026

⏰Time: 5pm-7pm

📍Location: CL_16 Rainforest Walk, Room S12, Theatre (Bldg 25) OR via Google Meets https://meet.google.com/gzs-cwbt-ycg OR submit a 1 min recording of speech to be played on the day.

👔 Dress Code: Smart Casual

🧠✨ FREE SNAPS x Toolbox Thinking Traps Workshop ✨🧠

If you’ve ever spiralled over whether you’ll pass a subject, make it into honours, choose the right path, or survive the semester, this is for you!

SNAPS is collaborating with Toolbox Education for a 60-minute workshop designed to help students recognise and manage common “thinking traps” - those unhelpful thought patterns that can send us into overthinking mode before we even realise it.

Run by Ben Scholl, Co-founder and Managing Director of Toolbox Education, this session will teach practical, evidence-based tools to help you catch these thoughts in their tracks and feel more prepared going into the new semester 📚🧠

Whether you’re already stressing about Semester 2, feeling anxious about uni expectations, or just want strategies to manage overthinking before it spirals, come along for a practical and student-friendly workshop.

Hey Snappies!🤗 We present our guide to purchase our Psychball tickets🦢🪩🖤

Please follow all instructions per this post when purchasing your tickets for the SNAPS Psychology Ball, and filling out the required table registration and dietary requirement forms🥰😊.

If these instructions are not followed correctly, SNAPS cannot guarantee the validity of your ticket, and may not be adequately able to assign table groups correctly and accommodate dietary requests🥹.

If there have been any discrepancies with your ticket purchase, SNAPS will endeavour to contact you to reconcile the issue. Alternatively, feel free to reach out to us if you have made a mistake when purchasing, or if you have any other questions regarding the event.

Once all forms are submitted correctly and in the right order, the SNAPS committee will approve your table registration. If any information is missing or you have not paid for a ticket, your registration will be declined via email, and you will need to resubmit.
