Tim has flown this J500 as few times now - trouble is, he's starting to like the idea of hacking about in it, he reckons it's great fun. Have told him if he keeps it, I will get another dog !!

We happen to have this little buzz-box for sale. We bought it as it was looking for someone to give it some TLC. Tim with help from Peter has seen this Jabiru 500 get a refurbished interior, a nice new Garmin 660 GPS, some cosmetic work done on the outside, including new sassy trim. Airframe TT 986hrs Engine TT 100hrs only as at 12/10/23. New Gen3 6 cylinder engine fitted late 2015. Upgraded wheels and brakes for off field operations. Electric Flap conversion kit and Spats to suit original smaller wheels included (not fitted). Would suit farmer who needs a plane to check water troughs etc or for someone who just likes to fly for fun.

DUSK AND DAWN FLIGHTS !!
In summer flying can be quite bumpy in the middle of the day. Consequently, Riverland Flight Training is offering dawn and dusk training flights over the picturesque Riverland for the summer period.
Try your hand at the controls LEGALLY, under the guidance of our highly experienced Chief Flying Instructor whilst taking in spectacular views of the Murray River in flood.
These flights include temporary membership of Recreational Aviation Australia ensuring appropriate insurance it in place for your flight.
These flights normally originate from our private airstrip at Berri but can be conducted from Renmark, Loxton or even Waikerie at an additional cost.
A one hour flight from Berri costs $210 but can be shared by 2 people (half hour each). These spots are filling fast so contact

Our Jabiru 7494 has had an engine transplant - a nice new 2200 Generation 4. She's done a whole 4 hours and is purring quite nicely. Sounds great, so with the weather improving its time to get back into the air. Now we have daylight saving we are taking bookings from 7.30 am until dusk, so if you want to avoid the heat of the day book an early morning flight or an evening flight.
