Molong Central School Book Week and Parade – A Huge Success!

What an incredible day at Molong Central School’s Book Week Parade! A huge thank you to all the parents, staff, and students who joined us to celebrate the joy of reading.

The creativity displayed through the incredible costumes was truly inspiring, capturing the magic of books and stories we all love. Our staff showed tremendous team spirit with their “Wally” themed effort, adding an extra layer of fun and excitement to the day.

Congratulations to the parade winners, the Rockstar Readers and the Library Legends on your awards.

Thank you for making this Book Week Parade a truly magical celebration of literacy. Can’t wait to see what next year brings!

AMAZING ARTISTS

What a creative bunch of preschoolers we had in last week’s session. We enjoyed one of my all-time favourite stories, 'Room on the Broom' written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated Axel Scheffler. I read from my daughter’s childhood copy, and she’s about to turn 30. It’s wonderful to see this classic still loved by so many children.

The preschoolers made their own crafts inspired by the story, talked about their favourite characters, and thought of different ways to travel instead of a broom. The kids enjoyed acting out characters and moving around the room – we were both artists and drama performers today!
