Molesworth Primary School

Molesworth Primary School This page is run by the Department for Education, Children and Young People: https://bit.ly/3xTbL27 The major farming activity was hop growing.

Molesworth Primary School was first established in 1881 to serve a small rural population living in the valley. Nowadays there is a diverse mix of families living in Molesworth and the surrounding area, which brings a rich array of talents, interests and skills to the community. A common factor is the enjoyment of the natural environment and the peace and tranquillity of this rural setting. A sign

ificant feature of the school is the Molesworth Environment Centre. Strong and ongoing community support has seen the Centre grow to the point where over 5000 students visit the Centre each year. The Centre has a unique relationship with the community, who allow access onto private land for our environmental programs. The school is slowly increasing in size and currently has approximately 155 students. The setting, size and values promoted by the school have contributed in attracting students from outside our local area and the school continues to build its reputation for high standards in education. Molesworth Primary School’s values are reflected in the school motto: Nature, Nurture and Knowledge.

💬 Students across Tasmania will soon take part in the Student Wellbeing and Engagement Survey (SWES).
SWES gives students the chance to share their experiences of wellbeing, engagement and learning at school.
The survey is confidential, and student feedback helps schools understand what's working well and where improvements may be needed.
🌟Have a chat to your child about why their voice matters.🌟
More information is available on the DECYP Website.
