Today we celebrate the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of all women in all of their diversities.

We celebrate all our female students and staff. We celebrate women around the globe.

Let's continue in raising awareness about the inequalities girls and women face around the world. A day of celebration is also a day of action to bring equality and save women and girls around the world from so many injustices still happening.

Heyooo,

We are now a week away from O-Week and our stall will be up and going on the Tuesday the 28th from 10am to 3pm. We'd absolutely love to see as many peeps there and we are looking forward to all the new peeps that'll be joining us there :) Come along to say hi if you are so inclined. Also there's always free stuff and food at O-Week so that might be an incentive.

Hello All,

We will be running our stall during O-Week in two weeks time (Woo) but we have run into a slight shortage of peeps to be on the stall from 2-3pm on the 28th of Feb (Tuesday). Was there anyone able and willing to cover that hour? You would have Heather there with you as well so dont worry about needing to run it soley :)

Thanks and super keen to see peeps and for this year ahead,

🌻 Self care 🌻

I'm not a fan of heights but imagine how wonderful it would be to be able to just sit back like him and take a breather in silence while watching the busy world below

Students doing semester 3, you're almost at the end! Not long to go now, take a breather, go for a walk and reground if you're feeling overwhelmed.

Students returning next month for semester 1, self care is important to get yourself prepared for the busy semester ahead, take in the sunshine, Studies have shown that spending time in nature can improve your mood, and reduce stress. Sun exposure helps produce mood-stabilising chemicals like serotonin and also gives your vitamin D levels a boost, which helps regulate your sleep-wake cycles. But don't forget a hat and sunscreen! 🌞

Have you ever felt like inspirational p**n? You're not alone!

As someone who is apart of the community, it even took me a while to become familarised with versitle pronouns. This defintely seems a wonderful oppounity to learn the she/theys from the xe/xers (excellent ceaser jokes from this one lmao).

Understanding pricing in the NDIS | Disability Support Guide 11/01/2023

Disability voices need to guide progress to a more inclusive Australia | Disability Support Guide 03/01/2023

This really is quite an unfortunate sentiment that seems to be very present. A lot of companies will often have essays worth of paperwork about all the processes and supports that exist, and yet show no evidence of any of it being implemented. The existence of plans seems to be far more important than any actual inclusion meant to come from them
