This week we welcome Tom Viney to MCPS as our Acting Principal for an on-going basis. He is looking forward to working with the Mole Creek Community ❤️💙

SPECIALIST CLASSES 🏀🧪📚
This week we begin our updated specialist timetable.

On Tuesdays each class will continue to have a PE lesson with Mr Winwood and start Science with Miss Johnson.

On Thursdays each class will continue to have Library with Miss Johnson and we will begin a specialist lesson with Mr Viney.

We are looking forward to starting these new specialists lessons this week!

💛🤎 HAWKA READING VISIT 🦅📚

Yesterday we had David and Hawka from the Hawthorn Football Club visit Mole Creek Primary to celebrate our participation in the 2026 Premiers Reading Challenge 📚✨

David and Hawka visited each class and read a story, spoke about how we can keep our brains and body healthy and active and of course talked all things football with our students 🏉

We hope David and Hawka enjoyed their visit to Mole Creek as much as did ❤️💙

This week hot lunch will be on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

PREMIERS READING CHALLENGE 📚💛🤎
This Wednesday we have Hawka, the Hawthorn Football Club Mascot joining us at MCPS for a reading visit. This visit will include a story read to each class, a conversation around health and nutrition and a game that touches on the themes of inclusion and participation.

We will be welcoming Ryan Lee back as our Acting Principal for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

FUN SOCK FRIDAY 🧦✨

To celebrate the end of Week 5, we are having fun sock Friday tomorrow!!

Students are encouraged to come with a fun pair of socks on. This may be a bright and colourful pair of socks, odd socks, a short and long sock, or your football socks!!

✨ FATHER’S DAY RAFFLE DONATIONS ✨

The Mole Creek Primary School Association is holding a Father’s Day Raffle to raise money for the Mole Creek Primary School early childhood playground re-development.

The MC School Association are seeking donation from families and the local community. If you have something you wish to donate, you can leave it at the MCPS front office ☺️

More information about raffle ticket sales will be coming home with students this week.
