Hi everyone,

Due to inactivity on the Moggill OSHC page and private and confidential laws preventing us from posting items, we will no longer be using this page, it will be deleted at the end of the month.

All information for families, children's learning stories and outcomes will be forwarded via XPLOR for a more secure and safe platform of communication.

We encourage all of our families to connect and join the Moggill P&C page to receive all updates.

Thank you in advance,

Laura Artis
Moggill OSHC Coordinator

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

As you are aware the Premier announced a 3-day lockdown. We will be opened to provide care for those families ONLY of essential workers who need to access the service on Monday and Tuesday for BSC and ASC.

Please contact us by email to [email protected] if you are an essential worker and need care for Monday and Tuesday BSC or ASC.

All OSHC Care staff are committed to maintaining appropriate control measures to ensure the Health & Safety of all staff/children and families.

Please continue to follow Queensland Health's recommendations and requirements in the use of masks. Masks are MANDATORY and must be worn in the delivery and collection of your child to OSHC. With such a contagious variant in our community I think we all have to be much more vigilant to minimise the risk of spread.

We will continually monitor relevant Government information sources, and be kept informed and update control measures accordingly to reassess the situation as it evolves.

Thank you for your understanding during this difficult and unprecedented time.

Dear Families,

Whilst we endeavour to make every effort to provide students with programmed planned experiences, sometimes we are met with unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

Regretfully, due to the recent lockdown and COVID-19 restrictions, for the safety of all children and staff, our excursion on Friday 9 July to Westaway Park has been CANCELLED.
Program will be amended to still provide the children with a fun and safe experience.
Please see attached new control measure in regards to Queensland Public Health direction of Mandatory Masks.

Thank you for your continuing support.

Parent/Caregivers

Can you help?
We are looking for a volunteer to join our OSHC Sub Committee in the role of Secretary. The Secretary arranges meetings, takes minutes at the monthly meeting, contributes to the planning and policy reviews of OSHC and on occasions does bank payment approvals. Our Meetings are held once a month currently on a Monday evening in the OSHC building. You would also be required to attend one General Meeting to be accepted as a member.
If you are able to join the team and contribute to our P&C or you would like more details, please email us on [email protected]

Kind regards

Rebecca Butler
Moggill State School P&C President

Dear OSHC Families,

It has been a busy few weeks here at Moggill OSHC and I haven’t had the chance to formally introduced myself, but better late than never!
Firstly, I would like to introduce myself as the new Coordinator at Moggill OSHC. My name is Laura and I have been with the Education and Care industry for over 20 years, enjoying various roles, which has provided me with great understanding, knowledge and experience.

One of the most rewarding things I really enjoy about working in an OSHC is seeing the children develop, grow from a young age and learn the skills that will help them on their journey through life.
A high priority of mine is to provide a safe and happy environment for all, offering our OSHC children a variety of new planned experiences that will enhance their wellbeing and development.
Communication between families and the service is also high on my list of priorities.
Please keep a close eye on this page for our new Term newsletter coming very soon!
Part of my job here is to ensure that your time at the service will be a valuable and an enjoyable experience for both you and your children. My door is always open, so please come and say hello.

On another note, It has come to my attention there are some parents still struggling with the new XPLOR APP. I ask if you are struggling with the APP, please ask one of our friendly staff for assistance. Staff will be happy to support you with this process, until you are comfortable with the new system. If it is an issue associated with the Child Care Subsidy, please refer this directly to me for assistance and I will be able to support you with this process.
Although, we have identified that some are experiencing technical issues with cancelling bookings at present. I have lodged a report to XPLOR back office to investigate this further and rectify the problem at their end.
In the meantime, I am resending the link for families to re connect and explore the many features on the APP.

Once again, I am looking forward to getting to know you all and thank you for your continuing support.
Thank you,
Laura
