Are you looking for a homely environment that is light light and airy with cosy inside spaces set up for children to explore with an experienced Educator with lots of love and hugs to share? Where there is fresh grass to run and play, plus chooks 🐓 to feed (coming again soon), vegetable gardens, compost and worm 🪱 farms to explore - does your little one enjoy water play or sand pits with diggers or forts to climb. Lots of running free - visit our whimsical 🧚‍♀️ garden room or our garden music board or maybe jump our Hopscotch sensory corner. We operate under "Freedom with Boundaries"- we value respect, kindness, and supporting each other. 🙏

Every day, fresh home cooked meals 🥗 are provided and shared together, supporting independence, eating 🍴 together as a day care family. Individual needs catered and respected with encouragement towards developmental milestones as we seek and explore through play. Dedicated beds/cots, including linen, are provided in quiet rooms to ensure quality daytime sleep 🛌

This week five years ago I started my Family Day Care business - I was registered, and ready by the end of January after returning from out west and so excited to be offering the 4070 community and surrounds my heart, my home and my experience.

I will be forever grateful to the beautiful families who have trusted me with their children - it has been and still is an absolute privilege to nurture, care and encourage our future generations in their early years of development.

Many of you will be at school now and some are having lots of fun at Kindy - most stayed for years and some only a short season - no matter how long our paths crossed, we shared so much together. Lots of laughter, songs, stories and exploring - whether in the garden digging up bugs or at the Reserve enjoying the sunshine and nature, or inside in our multi-room care space perhaps in a "pile-on" or having a cuddle, perhaps it was those longs sleeps you enjoyed because you could as it was peaceful here, or enjoying the fabulous food - whatever was your most treasured memory, I have so many more.

Picking Mandarins * digging up sweet potatoes * chasing chickens and collecting eggs * finding frogs, spiders or lizards * blowing bubbles or throwing the ball for Harmony * riding trikes * building or constructing what you wanted from what we found in the garden * watching the birds especially the cheeky Kookaburras * or the trees blow in the breeze * or just running in the rain. All the special moments when you needed a reassurance, or a hug or you just wanted to run and squeal in delight, for treasure hunts, or obstacle courses, running and jumping or laying on the grass to watch the clouds or planes go by - there was something for everyone.

To watch you sit up, then crawl, then walk, then run - to see you go from bottles to sipper cups to water bottles - from puree to solids and nappies to trainers to being toilet trained. So many great memories of Irish dancing, and Wiggles dancing and Indigenous salutes - from finger painting to craft creations, and all the interesting ways I have seen things used. I am so lucky to have so many wonderful memories - love to know your favourite?

Being an Educator is one of the hardest undertakings in my career - it has shaped who I am today. The forever changing landscape of the industry regulations, mandates, policies and procedures - Educators everywhere are absolute legends for the multi-skilled and multi-talented individuals we have to be. So grateful for the connections and friendships - I am so blessed.
