Baringa acknowledges the traditional custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to sky, land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

SSG Day is going well with our SLC students putting their best customer service skills to the test. We have a range of items for sale at the Enterprise Stall as well as a free sausage sizzle for all SSG attendees.

👮‍♂️🚔🪩Our local proactive police unit have organised a Blue Light Disco for Friday 11th of September at the Moe Town Hall.
This awesome event is exclusively for the students of Baringa and Latrobe SDS.

Our Baringa book week costume parade will be held on Tuesday, 25th of August.
Students are encouraged to attend dressed as their favourite character or in a costume inspired by the theme ‘symphony of stories’ 📚📖🎶🎻🪉

During SSG Day our SLC Enterprise students will be running a stall selling items they have been creating as part of their program.

Items include flower arrangements, water plants, potted succulents and garden decorations as well as a range of 3D printed keychains, trolley tokens, glasses holders and fidgets.

If families get a chance before or after SSG’s take the time to meet the makers and purchase some one-of-a-kind items from our SLC Enterprise Stall. (Cash only please).

🎉 Happy Principal’s Day🎉
Today we celebrated Principal’s Day.
Students and staff thanked our Principal, Kelly, Assistant Principal, Terri and acting Assistant Principal, Katie for all their hard work in running Baringa.
Our school captains gave a speech on behalf of everyone and our senior students created floral arrangements for each of our leaders.
All students had the chance to decorate the doors of our principals with words of thanks and praise.
