WE'RE EGG-STRA HAPPY YOU'RE HERE! 🐣
Today we had one of our “We’re Happy You’re Here” surprises. All students who were at school this morning were treated to a fun Easter egg hunt! There was a whole lot of excitement as students searched high and low throughout the school… and a lucky few even discovered the giant golden eggs, earning themselves a special prize... a FULL TOKEN CHART FOR THE ROARY STORE! How awesome!

It was a wonderful way to celebrate being at school - because every day counts and attendance matters. We love seeing our students here at SSPS!

Thank you to the 5/6 students for hiding the Easter eggs for the other grades. 👏🏻

EASTER RAFFLE WINNERS
Thanks to everyone who entered our Easter Raffle! We had an incredible number of tickets in the draw - so many that we had to use a massive blue tub to hold them all!

Our School Captains, Harlen, Amilee and Blake, did a fantastic job carefully separating, scrunching up, and mixing all the tickets before drawing the winners.

FOOD PANTRY MARKET - 1ST APRIL 🍎
We have an abundance of left over food items available from our Term 1 Breakfast Club program, along with additional food hamper packs to support families over the upcoming holiday break.

We invite our school community to visit our pop-up Food Pantry Market:
📅 Wednesday 1st April
⏰ 3:00pm
📍 Undercover area near the Grade 3 & 4 classrooms

Available items include fresh fruit, bread, milk, cereals, soups and a variety of non-perishable pantry staples.

Please feel welcome to come along and take what you need 💛

WHAT A GREAT MORNING 🦁☕🍩
A huge THANK YOU to all of our staff, parents, families, community members, neighbouring kindergartens/businesses and everyone else who came along to say hello, meet our staff, and enjoy a coffee with us this morning. It was so lovely to see so many people connecting and enjoying a relaxed start to the day together - what a fantastic community we have!

A special thank you to the amazing ladies at El Cappuccino for keeping everyone warm with delicious hot drinks on a chilly morning!

We’d also like to thank Infintea Moe for their generous surprise delivery of a big box of donuts! What a thoughtful and well deserved treat for our staff, and a perfect way to kick off our final week of term.🍩

Today, we proudly recognise Epilepsy Awareness Day at South Street Primary School.

Epilepsy is a condition that affects many individuals and families. By raising awareness, we help create a more understanding, supportive, and inclusive environment for everyone.

We loved seeing our students dress in purple today!
