All 2024 courses from UAC’s participating institutions are now available on UAC’s website!

For students who have already applied, this is a good time for them to log in to their application and review and update their preferences.

For students who haven’t yet applied the early bird period ends on Friday 29 September, at which time the processing fee increases.

Even if they’re not sure what course they want to study, they should apply before then and put in any course as a placeholder until they are ready to decide.

With exams just around the corner, here are a few things to help Year 12 students put their best foot forward!

1. Help your student make a study schedule
✏️ Mark down all their commitments like work, social occasions and sports activities.
✏️ Add blocks of study time – 20-minute chunks for the most effective use of your brain.
✏️ Allocate time for exercise and relaxation.

2. Reduce distractions
📚 Make sure your Year 12 student has a quiet study space, free of distractions, to help them effectively buckle down into study mode.

3. Mind and body
Look after them – their bodies and minds will need it!
🍎 Make sure they drink plenty of water and eat healthy foods
🏃‍♂️ Regular physical exercise will ensure they feel great, boost their energy and can help them relax.
😴 Most importantly, make sure they're getting enough sleep each night!

4. Offer help
Make sure that your Year 12 student knows they can ask for help! Let them know support is available, whether it’s from your teachers, parents, friends, a counsellor, mental health service or – of course – the UAC team!

This week marks National Volunteer Week 2023 - a celebration of our power to drive change through volunteering. We would like to warmly thank the many volunteers that make our School a special place to be, and who help to drive change for the better in our school. Thank you to our board directors, Parents & Friends committee, registered parent volunteers across primary and secondary, uniform shop volunteers and all of the other members of our school community who generously give their time. We greatly appreciate all of the hard work and effort that you put in throughout the year.
