π STATE OF ORIGIN NIGHT π
The rivalry is fierce, the banter is flying, and as proud NSW supporters, we're backing the Blues all the way! π
But while there'll be plenty of risks taken on the field tonight, let's keep them off the road.
If you're heading out to watch the game:
π Stick to the speed limit
π± Keep your eyes off your phone
π» Don't drink and drive
π΄ Don't drive tired
Because the only points you should be worrying about tonight are the ones on the scoreboard - not the ones on your licence.
π Go the Blues and travel safely! π

πΊ ANZAC Day, Lest We Forget πΊ
Today we pause to honour the courage, sacrifice and service of the men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country.
ANZAC Day is a time for reflection, remembrance, and gratitude. Across Australia and New Zealand, communities come together to attend dawn services, share stories, and pay their respects to those who gave so much.
We remember their bravery, their mateship, and the legacy they have left for future generations.
Lest we forget.

πΊ ANZAC Day Reminder β NSW Double Demerits πΊ
As we prepare to commemorate ANZAC Day tomorrow, many people will be travelling across NSW to attend dawn services, spend time with family, or take a moment to reflect.
A quick reminder that double demerits will be in force from 12:01 am Friday, April 24, to 11:59 pm Monday, April 27, 2026. Police will have an increased presence on the roads across the state.
If youβre heading out this weekend:
π Plan your trips ahead of time
π» Organise a safe way home if youβll be having a drink

ANZAC Day is a time of respect, remembrance and community - letβs carry that mindset into how we look out for one another over the long weekend.
Lest we forget.

πΈ Schoolβs back - slow it down! πΈ
The school holidays are officially over, which means 40km/h school zones are back in force across NSW.
A few friendly reminders to keep everyone safe on the roads:
πΆ Watch for kids crossing β they can be unpredictable
π Be extra cautious around school buses and drop-off zones
π΅ Stay off your phone β distractions can cost lives
π Double check your speed, especially during morning and afternoon school times
π Keep an eye out for crossing supervisors and obey their signals
Itβs easy to slip back into routine and forget those lower limits β but school zones are there for a reason.
If you (or someone you know) has been caught out and needs to complete a Traffic Offender Course, our ASPIRE team is here to help with supportive, judgement-free education.
Letβs all do our part to keep our roads safe for the little legends heading back to school π

ππΈ School Holidays Are Here - Letβs Keep NSW Roads SafeπΈπ
With today marking the start of the NSW school holidays and the tail end of the Easter period, weβre expecting busier roads, more families out and about, and plenty of travel across the state.
Whether you're heading away, visiting loved ones, or just enjoying some slower days at home, itβs a timely reminder to take extra care behind the wheel.
A few simple safety tips π
π’ Stick to the speed limits β itβs not worth the risk
π Stay alert β more kids, cyclists and pedestrians around
π΅ Avoid distractions β phones can wait
πΈ Be mindful in local streets and holiday hotspots
π Allow extra travel time β a little patience goes a long way
A gentle reminder tooβ¦ double demerits and increased police presence over the Easter period mean itβs easier than ever to be caught out if youβre not careful. Even the most experienced drivers can slip up when routines change.
π If you do find yourself needing support, the ASPIRE Traffic Offender Course is here to help you get back on track with practical education and guidance.
Wishing everyone a safe, enjoyable break (and hopefully a few leftover Easter eggs too π«).

ππ NSW Road Safety Update ππ
So far in 2026, 51 lives have been lost on roads across New South Wales. At this same time last year, the toll was 36.
Thatβs 51 families facing unimaginable loss - and a powerful reminder that safer driving habits save lives.
The biggest contributors to serious crashes continue to be:
π¨ Speeding - Even a small increase in speed significantly increases crash severity and stopping distance.
π± Driver distraction - Mobile phones and in-car distractions take your eyes, hands and mind off the road.
π΄ Fatigue - Driving tired can be just as dangerous as driving under the influence.
πΊ Driving under the influence - Alcohol and drugs impair reaction time, judgement and awareness.
The reality is that most crashes are preventable. Every time we choose to slow down, put the phone away, rest before a long trip, or plan a safe way home - we reduce the risk not just for ourselves, but for everyone on the road.
Safer habits arenβt just good driving - they protect families, friends, and our entire community.
Letβs work together to bring that number down. π£οΈ
