🏆 Hula Hoop Stars
Throughout the week, the House Captains continued to run some hula hooping games at lunch time. We have noticed an uptake in the borrowing of hula hoops from the sports shed! Great work, leaders!

Activity Arena 🏅
Our Year 6 Sports House Captains have started leading lunch time activities to involve students in more physical activity. Today, some Kindergarten students came along to join in the hula hooping fun. Well done, Havanna, for being the hula hooper of the day!

Stage 3 Author Visit 📝
After exploring his books in class this term, our Stage 3 students were captivated today by a visit from author and slam poet Solli Raphael! He shared his writing and invited us to see poetry as a window to new perspectives. He motivated us to write our own poems, gave helpful feedback, and engaged everyone by answering our many questions. Solli even joined in this year's National Simultaneous Storytime by reading us the feature book, Luna Roo: The Kangaroo Baller.

Walk Safely to School
The rain didn’t deter the “Walk to School” day, today.
MPS students were happy to participate with all the schools around NSW.
A special mention to the 3/4C students who tattooed multiple hands.
