Karimbla Early Learning Centre consists of two long day care centres located in Miranda Each centre accomodates 45 children per day.

Karimbla Early Learning Centre consists of two long day care centres located side by side in Miranda. We provide high quality child care for children aged from six weeks to six years. Our centre’s each have three spacious rooms which cater for 0-2 years (Discoverers), 2-3 years (Explorer’s) and 3-5 years (Adventurer’s). Monday- Friday 7:30am till 6pm
Karimbla Early Learning Centre is open 50 weeks

a year; closing for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Years and on Public Holidays. Fee’s:
0-2 Years: $135
2-3 Years: $130
3-5 Years: $120

We are a Childcare Subsidy (CCS) approved service and encourage all eligible families to formally enrol and have any CCS entitlements paid direct to the centre to reduce fee payments required. We also have a cook on premises five days a week and we provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Our food is provided by KGF who prepare healthy, wholesome and fun meals for children that are nutritionally balanced creating positive and appealing mealtimes. Facilities:
Karimbla Early Learning Centre has been architecturally designed by the experienced management to provide a modern and functional purpose built facility for the care and progression of children. There are three purpose designed rooms catering for children 0-2 years of age (including a specifically designated cot room), 2-3 years of age and 3-5 years of age with excellent bathroom and kitchen facilities to provide the best possible environment for children. Each area contains carefully chosen resources, which will aid your child’s development. Two excellent outdoor play areas have been designed to provide for the differing outdoor experiences required for the ages of the children. One play area is specifically designated for children aged 0-2 years and the other for older children aged 2-5 years. Many opportunities have been created for creative play. This area includes a sandpit, an extensive Softfall and natural environment as well as a bike track protected by a large shade cloth. Educators:
Our educators have a great variety of qualifications in Early Childhood Education, many years of experience and demonstrate a true passion for working with children. We believe that our staff are educators and play an important role in the future of our children, we believe it is important to provide high quality care by educators that have a formal early years qualification, attend ongoing professional training and demonstrate a genuine love and affection in their role as an educator. Each educator brings with them a variety of skills, knowledge and ideas from their experiences and is a valued part of our program. We acknowledge educators as active contributors in children’s learning, who through planned and unplanned learning experiences provide a curriculum which actively supports learning and development of children at every stage.

Another special moment providing a whole car boot full of size 4, 5 and 6 nappies to The Nappy Collective our second full donation in the past month!

Through our Karimbla Community a member of the local community saw our post for the need of nappies and donated 40 bags of these nappies!

This photo represents the incredible generosity of both our families and the power of community coming together.

As part of our ongoing partnership with The Nappy Collective, we continue to collect:

- New unopened packs of disposable nappies

- Opened packs (unused and in good condition)

- All sizes- newborn through to toddler

Nappy stress is a very real challenge for many families, and something as simple as donating leftover or spare nappies can make a meaningful difference.

Thank you for helping us support our wider community and for showing our children what compassion and community care look like in action.

Our collection point remains open in the foyer and we welcome ongoing donations!

Together, we are making a difference.

Today for Child Protection Week, local author and educator Lauren Armstrong shared a very special story with the children – Self Love Feels Like This 💛 She even brought along Self-Love Sammy, who was such a hit with the children!

This beautiful picture book helps children learn about:
✨ Speaking kindly to themselves
✨ Building confidence and resilience
✨ Understanding emotions
✨ Knowing their worth starts from within

It was such a positive and uplifting experience, reminding us all that self-love and emotional safety are key to raising happy, confident children.
