Following popular demand from last term, we have organised another Year 6 Fundraiser Lunch Pack for Friday 21 August 2026. Pre-orders and Payment for Lunch Packs must be received by no later than Wednesday 19 August 2026.

Below are details plus information on how to order in the School Bytes Parent Portal App:

There are two Lunch Pack options available for selection and are $8 each:

Chicken Nuggets + Popper + Popcorn + a Lollypop
or
Spring Rolls + Popper + Popcorn + a Lollypop

🚨 Jump Rope Week Finale – Let’s Make It Count! 🚨

Dear students, parents, carers & community,

This Friday, 14 August, we’re wrapping up our Jump Rope fundraiser with an exciting M***i & Jump Off Day! 🎉

✨ Here’s the plan:

Students can come dressed in m***i – and if you wear RED, you’ll show your support for the Heart Foundation ❤️

We’re asking for a gold coin donation to join in the fun

Let’s keep those jump ropes jumping the right way! Please encourage students to skip with the ropes rather than spinning them on the ground — it helps keep the handles in great shape for everyone.

Thanks to your amazing efforts so far, we’ve raised an incredible $1,925 for the Heart Foundation — but there’s still time to get involved and boost our total!

It’s not too late to sign up, skip, and contribute to this fantastic cause. Let’s make this final week the best one yet!

Jump in, jump up, and let’s skip towards a healthier heart together! 💓

Need help with birth registration or obtaining a birth certificate?

The NSW Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages is hosting a Births, Deaths & Marriages Assistance Day to support families with a range of services, including:

✅ Registering your child's birth
✅ Applying for birth, marriage or death certificates
✅ Correcting details on an existing certificate
✅ Assistance with certificates for Working with Children Checks or passport applications
✅ Information about changing your name

No appointment is needed, and the service is free. If you don't have all your identification documents, bring what you have and the team will help guide you through the process.

Please refer to the attached flyer for event details and contact information.

This information is shared for the benefit of our school community. The event is organised by the NSW Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages.

Bring your preschoolers to Minto Public School Hall on Monday 10th August, 10am-11am for a fun morning of stories and messy process art.

Katrina Jeffs (author & Minto PS teacher) and illustrator Imojjen Elmer, creators of One Hundred Cups of Tea, will read books and lead the activities.

Parents and carers are welcome to relax with a cup of tea and chat while the kids play.

This free event is a great way to connect with other families!

What an incredible effort from our Sarah Redfern Public School community! Thanks to your generosity and support, we've reached our first Jump Rope for Heart fundraising goal! 🥳👏

But we're not stopping there... our next goal is $2,000! 💚
