Our new Kindy friends just hanging out in their luxury accommodation with weekly eucalyptus and a daily mist. We love watching them munching their leaves and flexing. We hope they feel so at home they will start a family.

We commemorated ANZAC Day by inviting the lovely in to Kindy to tell us about the wartime nurses and how to bandage a sore paw or two. The children were fascinated by the stories Jacqui told us about turning an ice rink and a merry go round into a hospital, compared her uniform to the scrubs our nurse parents wear, and taught us how to roll a bandage and bandage our bears and an octopus! Persevering with rolling our Montessori work mats paid off and we soon had a room full of nurses carefully looking after their injured friends. All taking place under the Honour boards from when the building was a church.

The children are carefully creating a wreath to represent their understanding of respect and appreciation for those that serve our community and keep us safe
