Today as a Church we celebrate Mary’s Assumption into heaven. A humble woman who answered God’s call, Mary is a role model to us all.

As a community at MSJ, we give thanks for the life of Australia's first saint, St Mary of the Cross MacKillop. May her words 'Never see a need without doing something about it", inspire us to recognise Christ is those around us and to respond with generosity, hope and love.

An integral part of our Year 8 Wellbeing program is the Year 8 Camp. With the aim of developing resilience and connection, the camp has offered our students new challenges. From bushcraft to archery, horse riding to ziplines and high ropes the students have taken it all in their stride. It's been fun too!
