✨ A New Chapter at Millthorpe Little Learning Centre ✨

Today marks a very special and exciting new chapter at Millthorpe Little Learning Centre as we begin our first day under new ownership.

I would like to extend a very warm hello to all of our wonderful families, children, and educators. It is truly a privilege to become part of this beautiful community. Our goal is to continue providing a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn and grow. I hope to continue to carry forward the legacy left by Emma and Joel.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and building strong relationships with our families, as we continue to create meaningful learning experiences for the children in our care.

❤️ There aren’t words enough to express how grateful we are to our team and families as we take this next step.

It’s been a time of mixed emotions but today there’s lots of tears as we say goodbye.

We can’t thank you enough for joining us on this ride and trusting us with your little people. We feel so lucky to have built something so special for our community.

❤️With very full hearts, we wanted to share that after eight beautiful years of growing, learning and building this incredible community, we have made the decision that it’s time for us to pass Millthorpe Little Learning Centre into new hands.

This hasn’t been an easy decision — but one made with so much love for this centre and everyone who is part of it. We are so excited for our new provider, Mary, and extend a big welcome to the Millthorpe community. We know you will enjoy getting to know her.

MLLC has been so much more than a workplace or a business to us. It has been a family, a community, and one of the greatest joys of our lives and our 4th baby.

Watching your children grow, learn, laugh and thrive alongside such an amazing team of educators has been an absolute privilege.

We are so deeply grateful to every family, child and educator who has been part of our journey over these past eight years. Thank you for your trust, your support and your kindness — it has meant everything to us.

Our priority moving forward is ensuring continuity, care and a smooth transition for our children, families and team. We will keep you updated as things progress and are committed to protecting the beautiful culture we have all built together.

Our Executive Director, Emma Smith, has officially completed her Masters of Early Childhood Leadership 🎓

This is not just a qualification, it is a reflection of Emma’s unwavering commitment to excellence in Early Childhood. Her dedication to continuous learning, when her genuine passion for creating quality, nurturing environments where children, families and educators can thrive.

Emma pits her heart into our community, supporting families, inspiring educators, and ensuring every child feels valued, safe, and capable. Completing a Masters Degree on top of all of this is nothing short of extraordinary!

We’d love to introduce you to Gabby, our incredible Junior Room Leader here at Millthorpe Little Learning Centre, and she’s absolutely amazing at it! 🌟

Gabby is currently working towards her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and brings so much warmth, creativity, and care to our youngest learners every single day. She has a natural ability to create calm, nurturing spaces where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. 🌟

With her gentle nature and fun loving personality, Gabby ensures every day in the Junior Room is filled with laughter; learning, and love. She’s passionate about helping children reach their milestones through play, connection, and meaningful experiences. Gabby always goes that extra mile to make families feel welcome and included. 🌟

Gabby’s favourite part of her role? Watching the children grow and develop new skills, forming strong bonds with families, and working alongside her amazing team of educators to create a joyful, supportive environment for everyone! 🌟
