Year 2
Bullying- No Way Week!

This years theme was 'Small Acts, Big Impact'.
This theme reminds us that actions don’t need to be big to change someone’s world. Small actions – like including someone, speaking up or showing kindness – can create meaningful change.

Year 2 looked at how 'Kindness, like a pebble dropped in water, creates ripples of goodness far and wide' and each student wrote on a water drop one way they can show kindness to one another.

Year 3/4
As part of Bullying No Way Week, students learned about the different types of bullying and explored ways to build a safe, respectful and inclusive school community. Through discussions and activities, they developed strategies for being kind, standing up for others and seeking help when needed. Students then put their creativity to work by designing colourful posters to share these important messages with others

On Friday 7th August, 12 of our students travelled to Toowoomba to participate in the Inner Downs Athletics Trials.
Well done to all these students for representing our school with pride and giving their best efforts on the day.

We had some wonderful results throughout the day.
Desmond - 3rd 800m
Eloisa - 2nd Shot Put
Harlen - 2nd Long Jump
Iahnelle - 1st Shot Put

Congratulations to Harlen and Iahnelle who have been selected in the Inner Downs Team to compete at the Darling Downs trials next week. We wish you the best of luck.
