The school has since grown and has a current enrolment of 166 students from Reception to Year 6. The Scholastic Book Fair will be open in the St Anthony’s Library from Monday to Friday, Week 8, between 3:10pm and 3:30pm each day.

Families are invited to visit the Book Fair after school to purchase books.
Please note that students must be accompanied by an adult when attending the Book Fair after school.

Attention St Anthony’s Families! Do you have a young learner who is due to start Reception in 2027?

Planning for our 2027 Reception intake is already well underway, and we encourage families to submit an enrolment application as soon as possible if their child is due to commence in Reception at the beginning of 2027 or via our mid-year (Term 3) intake.

Planning is also underway for 2028 and beyond, and enrolment applications are now open for Reception 2028 and beyond. It is never too early to submit an application. Early enrolments help us plan for the future, support our growing school community, and assist us in accommodating siblings wherever possible.

If you have a future St Anthony's student at home, we'd love to hear from you and look forward to welcoming the next generation of learners to our school community.

📝 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀

In Years 1 and 2, engaging children’s books are used to develop reading and writing skills. Students explore different text types, learning their purpose, structure, and key features through shared reading, discussion, explicit teaching, and clear learning goals.
Teachers model effective writing, while Bump It Up Walls help students understand expectations and improve their work.

This year, students explored persuasive writing through The Day the Crayons Quit, writing letters to convince their classroom chairs to return after going on strike.

After reading The Most Magnificent Thing, they learnt about procedural texts and wrote step-by-step instructions to create their own “most magnificent thing”.

These experiences helped students build their understanding of how authors use language and text structures for different purposes.

The dance floor was packed, the music was pumping, and the children had an absolute blast enjoying a fun-filled afternoon with friends.
Seeing so many smiling faces, enthusiastic dancers, and colourful beach-themed outfits made the event truly memorable.

A huge thank you to our amazing Parents & Friends Committee, Annie, and staff for helping make this event so special. 🌟
