Jersey Day is coming up!

What better day to wear your favourite sporting team's jersey than during the FIFA World Cup?

On Friday 26 June, Millfield Public School students will have the opportunity to watch the FIFA World Cup match between Australia and Paraguay live at school, with kick-off at 12:00pm. We can't wait to cheer on Australia together! 🇦🇺

To celebrate the occasion, a Pizza and Popper lunch deal will be available for students to pre-order for $5.

So dust off your jerseys, wear your team colours with pride, and get ready to show off your sporting and school spirit!

⚽️ PSSA Soccer Update ⚽️

What a fantastic day of soccer for our Millfield teams last Thursday!

A huge congratulations to our Millfield Small Schools PSSA Team, who came away with a win and will progress to the next round of the competition. An extra special mention goes to Jackson and Sawyer, who each scored an incredible hat-trick! 👏⚽⚽⚽

Unfortunately, our Millfield Boys PSSA Team was defeated by a strong Cessnock West side. Thank you to Mr Majdandzic and his team for a great match. While the result didn’t go our way, we couldn’t be prouder of our players, who demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, resilience and a never-give-up attitude from start to finish.

A big thank you to our wonderful supporters who came along to cheer on the teams, and to Abby for once again capturing some fantastic photos of the day.

We would also like to acknowledge Mr Jackson for organising the fields and Mr Gaden for his organisation and coordination of the day.

Well done to all of our players. We are incredibly proud of the way you represented Millfield Public School both on and off the field! 💙💛⚽️🏆

📚🐝 Buzzing Through Home Reading! 🐝📚

A huge congratulations to all of the students who have reached their home reading milestones! It’s fantastic to see so many students developing positive reading habits and a love of books at home.

A special shout-out to our K/1 class, who took home the most awards this round—what an incredible effort!

Keep turning those pages, logging your reading nights, and helping us work towards our school reading goals. We can’t wait to celebrate our next group of reading superstars!
