Last Playgroup for the Term.
Join us for our last playgroup for the term on Friday 21st August. We’d love to see all our playgroup families there for a fun morning together before we finish up for the term.
To make it even more special, children are welcome to dress up for our Book Fair Parade. Come dressed as your favourite book character.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Reminder to Parents and Carers
Please be reminded that students are not permitted to be on school grounds outside of school hours unless they are participating in a supervised school activity.
School grounds are not supervised before 8:00 am and after 3:00 pm. For student safety, please ensure your child does not arrive before 8:00 am and is collected at 2.30pm each day.
We understand situations arise, but if you could advise the school that would be appreciated.
Could we also ask that any parents advise the school if someone else is picking your child up.
Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a safe environment for all students.

Parade – 12th August
We are very proud of how well our students have responded to our weekly parade. It has been wonderful to see everyone joining in, and the National Anthem is sounding great!
A big congratulations to our Student of the Week, Delta, for showing excellent effort when working independently. Well done, Delta! 👏

We’re excited to share that Millaroo has started holding a weekly parade! 🎉
Each week, we come together to encourage our students to learn the National Anthem, revisit our focus of the week, and celebrate our Student of the Week.
So far, our Student of the Week recipients have been:
⭐ Clara in Week 2 for having a great start to the term.
⭐ Reggie, Week 3 for excellent writing.
⭐ Lewis this week for being kind and helpful.
We are so proud of all our students and love being able to recognise their efforts, achievements and positive attitudes each week. Well done everyone! 👏

🌿⛳ Exciting things are growing at Millaroo State School! ⛳🌿

We’re so excited to share our new garden and putt putt area at Millaroo SS!
These spaces have been created for our students to enjoy, learn and have fun outdoors. Our garden is a great place for students to get their hands dirty, learn about plants and watch things grow, while the Putt Putt area gives them another fun space to play and practise their skills.
We’re really proud of how it all turned out and can’t wait to see our students making the most of these new areas.
