You may have heard about the social media ban for children under 16, which began in December 2025. We understand this may bring up questions for families about how best to support young people as they navigate the online world.
If you are looking for more information on how to support your teenager, the eSafety Commissioner website has a range of helpful resources for parents and carers.
If your child is experiencing cyberbullying or negative online behaviour, support is also available through the eSafety Commissioner, including advice on reporting harmful content and getting help.

🚜🌱 And that’s a wrap!

Last week, our Year 9/10 Ag students took on 9 other schools in the Farm of the Future AgTech Innovation Challenge at the Ekka! 🤠🏆

Our MSHS team proudly showcased their scaled diorama, featuring automated gates and sub-soil irrigation prototypes, confidently sharing their innovative ideas with both the judges and the public.

Then came Phase 2! 💻 Students created a digital twin of their project in Minecraft, working together in an intense 45-minute rush build. 🎮⏱️

While we may not have taken home a place, our students proved something far more important: anything is possible when you’re willing to step outside your comfort zone, have a go and back yourself. 💪✨

We’re incredibly proud of the creativity, courage, teamwork and innovation our students demonstrated! 🌾👏
