π Why We Choose to Be Faceless π©΅π©·
At Goodstart Mildura β Eleventh Street, we love sharing the wonderful learning, play and discoveries happening throughout our centre. But you may notice that we choose to be faceless when sharing photos of our children on social media.
β¨ So, why do we choose to be faceless?
π Protecting childrenβs privacy β Every child deserves to have their identity and personal information protected.
π‘οΈ Keeping children safe online β Once a photo is shared online, it can be difficult to control where it goes or how it is used.
π€ Respecting our families β We value the trust families place in us and want to make thoughtful, respectful decisions about sharing their childrenβs experiences.
π± Celebrating the learning, not the faces β We can still showcase the amazing experiences, creativity, friendships, discoveries and milestones happening every day without showing identifiable faces.
Being faceless doesn't mean sharing less. It means being intentional about what we share and how we protect the children in our care.
Our childrenβs learning stories are still worth celebrating, their achievements are still worth sharing, and their experiences remain at the heart of everything we do. π
Same meaningful moments. Just without faces. ππ©΅π©·
