Connected Beginnings Mildura and Mildura Rural City Council warmly invite Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families to join us for a FREE fun and informative morning focused on supporting your child's early learning and development.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with local services that can help your child take their first steps into learning and give them the best possible start in life.

✔ Walk-in Maternal & Child Health and Immunisation support
✔ Get assistance with Birth Certificate applications
✔ Yarn with local services and learn what's available for your family
✔ Enjoy complimentary finger food

Come along, ask questions, explore early learning opportunities, and build connections in a welcoming and culturally safe space.

Registrations for 2027 three and four-year-old kindergarten places are now open!
Parents and guardians looking to register their children for kindergarten next year can do so through a central registration process.
We coordinate registrations for the following:

Registrations for first-round places close on 31 July. Registrations will still be accepted and collated after this date.

• All kindergarten places are allocated in accordance with Priority of Access Guidelines and preferences provided

Visit www.mildura.vic.gov.au/kindergarten to register for these kindergartens by completing an online form.

Please make sure that all Picture Plate templates are returned to kinder before Wednesday afternoon.

Come and have a chat and learn more about our local Emergency Services organisations.

Enjoy a jaws of life demonstration from 10.30am and 1pm, take part in a ninja course and learn more about how drones are utilised by local services.

The Mildura Emergency Services Day is being delivered thanks to funding from Emergency Recovery Victoria to build a better prepared and more resilient community, while providing career guidance and volunteer information.

Join Mallee Catchment Management Authority and BirdLife Australia for hands‑on activities highlighting the importance of our wetlands and how we can protect them.
