On Saturday I had the chance to work with Mulberry Playground and run a fundraiser where they received a percentage from each booking.

It turned into a beautiful afternoon — minus the mosquitoes — and the families were absolutely amazing to work with. Here’s a little sneak peek from the day.

Australian Inland Botanic Gardens is looking for our ideas! What makes a great kids play space? What would you like to see in the Children's Garden at the AIBG?

The Australian Inland Botanic Gardens (AIBG) is uniquely located within the Murray River region at Buronga, NSW, showcasing 50ha of developed garden beds within a semi-arid zone.

Within the Botanic Gardens is the Children’s Garden, developed in 2009. As part of a Masterplan for the AIBG, the Children’s Garden is being revitalised, with a focus on nature play.

The theme of the play space will celebrate the garden’s ‘sense of place’ including its history, culture and biodiversity. The reimagined space will be inclusive and cater for children and young people of differing abilities and cultural backgrounds.

We are seeking the community’s input to the design of the Children’s Garden.

Today is the test day for the Australian nation-wide emergency alert. At around 2pm, your mobile phone will sound with a loud siren for around 10 seconds even if your phone is on silent or do not disturb.
If you are co-napping with babies, you may like to turn your phone off.

🚨 Don't be alarmed if your phone sounds unexpectedly!

A national AusAlert test will take place on Monday, 27 July at 2pm. Even if your phone is on silent or Do Not Disturb, you'll still receive the test alert if your device is compatible.

The alert will:
✔️ Play a loud warning sound.
✔️ Vibrate your device.
✔️ Display a message confirming it's a TEST ONLY.

No action is needed - it's simply making sure Australia's new emergency alert system is ready to help keep communities safe during future emergencies.
