In and amongst last week's RCR training, Merbein Fire Brigade visited for an evening session of LPG Flare-Off skills maintenance.
LPG Flare-Off is a specialist skill set used to render compromised LPG cylinders safe by conducting a controlled burn of the cylinder's contents.

Following the Instructors' skills maintenance days, Volunteer members from NSW RFS RCR brigades joined their instructors for three days of training. Some of these members were obtaining their qualification for the first time, others attending to conduct their own collaborative skills maintenance.
