We’re always incredibly proud to see our current and former students achieving success within and beyond our community.
Rohullah Ataye’s journey to medicine took him from Chaffey Secondary College to Biomedical Science at Monash University in Melbourne, and now back to the Loddon Mallee as an End-to-End Rural Cohort student Monash Rural Health as he completes his clinical training in medicine. He is still exploring different areas of medicine but has developed an interest in surgery and cardiology🫀
🩺
Rohullah’s advice for anyone with a rural background considering medicine: believing your background is your advantage!
“Growing up rurally gives you a unique understanding of the challenges faced by regional communities and helps you develop qualities such as resilience, adaptability and connection with patients.”
