What an amazing few days we have had so far for our Book Week 2026!

We have had Superheroes, Princesses, undersea creatures and so much more 📚📚

Today we welcomed our little Turtles loved ones to watch our Parade, lots of proud smiles and happy teary eyes were shared together 🥰

Thank you to all parents for participating in dressing the children each day your hard work has not gone unnoticed. Thank you to those who were able to make the Parade.

A friendly reminder that Book Week has started TODAY!!! – (Monday 17th August to Friday 21st August!)
We have some amazing charaters here today and are looking forward to celebrating our love of books, stories and imagination throughout the week.

All children are invited to come dressed as their favourite book character at any time throughout the week. It could be a much-loved character from a favourite story, a classic book, or a new book they have recently discovered.
We can't wait to see the children's wonderful costumes and share lots of special stories and book experiences together!

Centre Photos – 24th to 28th August
We would also like to remind families that our Centre Photos will be held the following week, from Monday 24th August to Friday 28th August.

Please don't forget to book your child's photo session! We encourage families to book as soon as possible to make sure you secure a day that suits you.

We look forward to celebrating Book Week with the children and capturing some special memories during our photo week!

Campfire fun 🏕️🔥

This morning the children enjoyed a campfire learning experience where they explored cooking over a fire and discussed important fire safety rules.
We talked about staying a safe distance from the fire, listening to educators and understanding how to safely enjoy a campfire. 🥰❤️ The children also helped make damper with Cathy and frank, which we cooked and enjoyed together.

What an amazing Sports Day we had 🏅

There was a lot of laughter and team work and all our little turtles were winners 🏆💜💚

What a fantastic day of fun, laughter and teamwork at Happy Turtle! 🌟

Our children had a wonderful time getting active and showing off their skills during our Sports Day. The children and Educators engaged in running races, hurdles and egg and spoon races and plenty of cheering, there was something for everyone to enjoy! 🏅

It was wonderful to see our children encouraging their friends, having a go, celebrating each other's achievements and most importantly — having FUN! 💚💜

A huge well done to all of our little athletes! You should all be so proud of yourselves. 👏

Every raffle ticket purchased, every donation made, every item bought and every helping hand has contributed to this amazing result. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference to Michele and his family during this challenging time.

We are so grateful to everyone who supported our fundraising event. It is moments like these that remind us what an incredible community we are privileged to be part of.

Happy Turtle Childcare & Kindergarten 💜💚

Today our Toddlers and Kindy-Adventurers had an exciting adventure on their excursion to Mildura Airport!

The children had the opportunity to explore the airport, learn about how it operates, watch aircraft arrive and depart, and discover the important roles of the people who help keep everything running safely. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience that sparked curiosity, encouraged questions, and brought so much excitement.

Excursions like these provide meaningful opportunities for children to connect their learning with the real world, build confidence, and develop a greater understanding of the community around them.

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at Mildura Airport for welcoming us and making our visit such a memorable experience. We are also incredibly grateful to our amazing educators for ensuring the children had a fun, engaging, and safe day.

We can’t wait to hear all about everyone’s favourite part of the adventure!
