Maybe you’ll be the one leading research that makes a difference in our community one day🤔
That’s one of the great things about La Trobe University, Mildura Campus, it’s not just about studying here. It’s about creating opportunities to learn, contribute and make an impact right here in our region.
We’ve seen that firsthand through this research project and the fantastic nursing students involved as research assistants.
If you’re thinking about university, or know someone who is, come and see what’s possible right here in our own backyard.

Did you know your pregnancy history could affect your heart health decades later?
For many women at Sunday's free Women's Heart Health event, the answer was no.
Cardiologist, Dr Jennifer Coller, shared an important reminder that conditions such as gestational diabetes, pre-eclampsia, and even the transition through perimenopause and menopause can increase a woman's future risk of heart disease.
Those conversations matter.
A huge thank you to Dr Coller for bringing her expertise to Mildura and helping raise awareness of women's heart health, and to everyone who came along, asked questions and took the time to learn more about their heart.
It's exactly why we're testing new ways to help people understand their heart health earlier.
If you've been thinking about taking part in the Heart Health Check Community Project, now is the time to decide. Registrations close this Friday, 31st July.
