Join us on Friday 4 September for our much-loved Annual Father’s Day BBQ!

We warmly invite all fathers, grandfathers, father figures and other special people in our students’ lives to share a relaxed morning with us. Enjoy a delicious halal chicken or beef sausage, served drive through style through the car park, and take the opportunity to celebrate the wonderful people who support and care for our students each day.

We look forward to welcoming you for a tasty breakfast for our special Father’s Day celebration.

What a busy and exciting week we have had at Yubup celebrating Book Week!

Throughout the week, our Leadership Team enjoyed sharing daily book readings in the library, while students took part in DEAR — Drop Everything And Read — each day. We also had our popular “Guess the Book” competition, with a prize awarded daily, and a wonderful Something Special performance incursion on Thursday.

Today, we finished the celebrations with our Book Week parade and cross-age activities. It was fantastic to see the incredible costumes on display, particularly from those students who spent days designing, creating and perfecting their costumes from scratch.

We hope all students thoroughly enjoyed our 2026 Book Week celebrations. Thank you to everyone who helped make the week such a memorable success!

Day 4 Guess the Book Competition. Today students had to guess what the book was using the clues in the picture.

We had so many different guesses today, Spiderman, Beauty and the Beast to name a couple but the Winner from FA guessed correctly- The Rainbow Fish- First Published in 1992 by Marcus Pfister, The Rainbow Fish is a famous children's picture book. It tells the story of a vain fish with shimmering, iridescent scales who learns that pride leads to loneliness. By sharing his prized scales with others, he finds true happiness and friendship

Our winner from FA quickly came down to the office to collect her book prize! Well done to everyone who guessed correctly!

Tomorrow is our final 'Guess the book' Competition. We look forward to reading all the guesses! Wonder what wonderful book we will be guessing about tomorrow
