Allow us to introduce the team behind Learning Diversity support at Holy Cross Catholic Primary School.
First up, we have Hollie Sanderson. Hollie wears more than one hat at Holy Cross, also playing an important part of our Wellbeing Team. With her caring nature, patience and dedication, she brings so much to all areas of our school community.
And then we have Emma Barker, who works alongside Hollie to support our students and staff, helping to ensure every child feels understood, included and supported throughout their school journey.
These ladies may not have capes or secret headquarters, but they do have an endless supply of patience, compassion and the uncanny ability to make every child feel like they belong.
Think of them as the school’s first responders.. always ready to step in, problem-solve, support and advocate when a student needs a little extra help.
Hollie and Emma are an incredible source of support for staff across the school, helping navigate diverse learning needs, challenging behaviours and everything in between with empathy, expertise and the utmost care.
No two days are ever the same. One minute they might be supporting a student’s learning, the next they’re collaborating with teachers, meeting with families, developing personalised learning plans or finding just the right strategy to help a student experience that all important lightbulb moment.
The impact of their work can be felt by every member of our school community. Thank you, Hollie and Emma, for helping make Holy Cross a place where every child is supported, valued and given every opportunity to thrive.
