Kool Kids Early Learning We provide long day care services for children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.

Taking pride in our play-based philosophy, our qualified educators and team are here to support your child at every stage of their unique early learning journey. Kool Kids Miami is a childcare and early learning centre, providing quality long day care and a Government-approved kindergarten program for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years across Miami, Burleigh Waters, Mermaid Beach, Mermaid Waters and Palm Beach on the Gold Coast. Our dedicated educators deliver play-based learning, tailoring to each child's needs through Individual Learning Plans. Families enjoy our newly renovated natural outdoor environments, thoughtfully designed indoor learning spaces, chef-prepared nutritious meals, and regular updates via our family communication app. We offer the Genki Japanese program, Future Champs sports, Happy Feet dance, sustainability, STEM, music and movement, and strong connections to local schools.

At Kool Kids Helensvale, outdoor time is an important part of the children’s day.

Our outdoor environment gives children space to be active, challenge themselves and build confidence as they climb, balance, run and take part in games with their friends.

These everyday experiences help support the development of gross motor skills while giving children the freedom to explore their surroundings, make choices and enjoy being active.

Growing more than just vegetables at Kool Kids Helensvale! 🌱🥕

From the nursery through to kindergarten, the children enjoy getting their hands dirty in the centre's vegetable garden, learning how to plant, care for and harvest fresh produce.

To help the garden grow, the children also collect bottles and cans for recycling, discovering how sustainable choices can make a real difference. The funds raised are then used to choose new vegetables to plant, giving the children a meaningful role in caring for their garden from start to finish.

It's wonderful to see sustainability come to life through hands on, play based experiences that nurture responsibility, teamwork and a love of caring for the environment.

Curious minds are always at work at Kool Kids Helensvale! 🔬✨

Through play based STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) experiences, children are encouraged to explore, investigate and discover the world around them.

Hands on learning helps children build important skills they will support them through school and beyond, including problem solving, teamwork, creativity, critical thinking and independent thinking.

Every experiment, challenge and discovery is another opportunity to learn through play, ask questions and grow in confidence.

At Kool Kids Helensvale, we believe it's important to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our everyday curriculum.

Recently, we welcomed Josh from Mabaigal, who shared his knowledge of Torres Strait Islander culture with the children. They explored traditional musical instruments, took part in traditional dance, and learned about the meaning of the five-pointed star on the Torres Strait Islander Flag, representing the five island groups.

The children also discovered how banana leaves are traditionally used to wrap food before it is cooked underground during ceremonial feasts, giving them a meaningful insight into Torres Strait Islander culture and traditions.

The ability to understand and manage emotions is one of the most critical developmental outcomes of early childhood and one of the hardest to teach.

Our educators model emotional regulation, name feelings openly, and create calm, predictable environments where children feel safe enough to experience the full range of emotions.

Children who develop strong emotional regulation in the early years are better equipped for school, relationships and life. It is quiet, essential work and we do it every day.
