Hooked In Neverland
‘2nd Star to the right and straight on til morning’
Peter Cook’s (PAN) world is turned upside-down when his children are taken from their beds in the middle of the night. The search for them is frantic and takes a peculiar turn when he receives a visit from a fairy named Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell drags Peter to a place and a past that he’s completely forgotten. Is it all a bad dream and he’s losing his marbles or is the feisty, funny fairy the key to unlocking his true identity and strength? Can he beat a flamboyant enemy he didn’t know he had? Either way, he’s determined to find his kids and bring them home.

Last week, four of our Inclusion and Support Class students proudly represented MPS at the tenpin bowling tournament at Raymond Terrace Strikeforce. While we just missed out on a top 3 finish, the experience was fantastic – meeting new friends and enjoying every moment of the competition. Well done to all our amazing players! 🎳

Term 3 is well underway, and our PUPS are settling in beautifully to our Transition to School program! They’re making new friends, exploring the school environment, and learning all about school routines. Want to join the fun? Enrol in the PUPS program by contacting the school office at 4933 2655. We can’t wait to see our little Kelpies tomorrow at 9am! 🐾📚

A few weeks ago some of our stage 3 students represented our school at the Netball Schools Cup gala day. We had a fantastic day, between the two teams winning 7/8 games! Well done to all students involved, Miss Morgan and Mr Porter were very proud 🏐🏆

We would like to say a huge thank you to all our wonderful students and their families for supporting our Book Week celebrations 2026!

Our author visit with Aura Parker was inspiring and our students enjoyed listening to her stories and creating their very own piece of artwork with her.

Our Book Fair was again a huge success! We sold just over $4000 worth of books and school supplies. We got some beautiful books for our library and just over $1000 to purchase more books in the future!

The grand finale was our Book Week Parade! What a symphony of stories it was. Thank you again to all our wonderful students and families for truly joining in the spirit and excitement of Book Week.
