πŸ™πŸŒ² What a fantastic few days our Year 7 students enjoyed at CRU Camp, Galston Gorge!

Camp provided the perfect opportunity for students to strengthen friendships, build resilience, participate in exciting activities, and deepen their faith in a fun and supportive environment. Seeing students encourage one another and create lasting memories was a true highlight.

We are grateful for the wonderful experience and look forward to seeing the positive impact it has throughout the year.

There was a lot for our Secondary students to reflect on as they heard from Australian Paralympian and Olympian of the Year, Lauren Parker.
Lauren shared honestly about the challenges she has faced, the perseverance required to keep moving forward, and the determination that has enabled her to achieve at the highest level of sport.
As a school community, we value opportunities like this that encourage students to build resilience, grow in character, and recognise that some of life's most significant growth comes through adversity. We are thankful to Lauren for investing in our students and inspiring them to approach challenges with courage and hope.

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

Spotted! Our very own exec Principal, Mr Peet, playing the keys at the Christian Schools Australia National Leaders Summit! 🎢

What a joy to see Mr Peet using his musical gifts to lead worship alongside an amazing team from Christian schools across Australia. We’re so proud! πŸ’™

At CSA's National Leaders Summit in Sydney over the past 2 days, we have been led in our morning songs of praise by this motley crew ....

We wonder if you recognise some familiar faces?

We have long heard tales of Sharon and the Sitdowns, so we were delighted to participate in their first national performance!

Thank you SO much for sharing your gifts with us:
Sharon Sopher from Belmont Christian College
Geoff Peet from Maitland Christian School,
Les Barnard from Regents Park Christian School,
Felicity Marlow from Norwest Christian College,
Glenn Westcott from Parkes Christian School
Peter Downey formerly from Oxford Falls Grammar, and

Designing with purpose. πŸ’‘πŸ—οΈ

Our STEAM: Engineering through Design students have completed their architectural structures, each created to address a real societal or environmental challenge. From housing affordability and homelessness to climate resilience and disaster-ready designs, students used creativity and innovation to develop solutions that promote dignity and care for others.

A fantastic display of problem-solving, design thinking and future-ready skills. Well done, everyone! πŸ‘βœ¨
