Some of today's results! We are so proud of every students growth! One student asked if I would post a mark in the BAND 4 range, and the answer was and will always be: YES! I am so proud of each person's growth, each embarked on a personal journey. A student getting a Band 4, yet 8 months prior, was struggling to get 30% is AMAZING!

I would like to emphasise that some of our best performers attended lower SES schools, but their qualities of resilience and determination were second to none.

Most importantly, they fostered a liking and love for English!

We are so impressed by our upper primary students! Ahlam is in Year 6 and has absolutely nailed discussion writing tasks. This was done in under 40 minutes with no assistance, and under exam conditions, no cheat cheats, and her work is a testament of her diligence and ability to follow guided scaffolds and complete a range of guided responses throughout the term. Well done, Ahlam!

We are super proud of Isaac! Let me tell you that learning the art of creative writing is not for the faint-hearted. But Isaac persevered, with every draft and mark of red, he interjected reformulating his responses with little touches of imagery, analogy, figurative language, fragmented sentencing to create tension and in the end his work was well received.

We pray the years ahead are even more fruitful for Isaac.

HSC English workshops are officially available! With limited positions.

Preparing for the 'Common Module: Texts and Human Experiences' available on the 13th of January from 9:30 to 1:00 pm.

Preparing for the 'Craft of Writing' available on the 16th of January from 9:30 to 1:00 pm.

Price: $150 for one workshop or $280 to attend both.

These sessions are intense and extremely beneficial in helping students get ahead.
