Did you know that Kumon was inspired by a father’s love for his child? Toru Kumon, a high school maths teacher, saw his son was struggling with maths.

He handwrote worksheets for his son to study for half an hour each day.

Soon his son progressed beyond school grade level and could solve calculus equations by the end of primary school.
