Cerdon College warmly invites our students, families and staff to join us for our annual Father’s Day Mass.
This special celebration is an opportunity for us to come together as a Cerdon community in prayer and thanksgiving for the fathers, grandfathers and father figures who have shared their love, guidance and care with us.
Date: Friday, 5 September
Time: 8:00am
Location: Marist Ministry Room
We look forward to gathering together and celebrating the special role of fathers and father figures in our lives.

PDSSSC Chess Gala Day
Seven teams represented Cerdon College at the 2026 PDSSSC Chess Gala Day at St. John ###III Catholic College, Stanhope Gardens with 21 students participating in a round robin competition. Over the day, 8 rounds lasting 15 minutes each were played and there were many hard fought games. Notable performances were Aaradhya (Y9) and Mai (Y10) winning 7/8 and 6.5/8 games, respectively.

NYSF 2027 Bound!
Congratulations to year 11 students Gabriela and Tanishka who have been accepted into the The National Science Youth Forum program for 2027.
This prestigious program offers students the opportunity to travel to The Australian National University, Canberra or the University of Queensland, Brisbane for a ten day immersion into the world of STEM.
Students will engage with university academics, industry leaders and like minded individuals while exploring cutting edge scientific research.
For the first time, one of our students and former NYSF alumni Ellen, has also been selected as a staff mentor for the program.
Congratulations ladies on your well deserved selection and thank you to Rotary for assisting the girls in their journey!

Students worked in teams with a $50,000 budget to organise the resources needed to establish their business. They faced a series of unexpected challenges, making strategic decisions and gaining or losing points based on their choices.

On Friday our Year 10 students had their Formation Day and explored more deeply the meaning and relevance of holiness to their lives.
As part of the schedule for the day, we invited speakers from Jesuit Refugee Service and Catholic Youth Parramatta (CYP) to inspire our students to commit to ordinary acts of extraordinary love on their path towards holiness. Rita Bougoide (an ex-Cerdon student) was one of the speakers from CYP who shared her personal testimony of faith. It was wonderful to hear Rita continue to live out her Marist values, especially through her leadership of youth ministry at St Margaret Mary’s.

Congratulations to our Alchemy Photography Finalists! 📸
Last night Ms Browning, Ms Zangari and Ms Sylaprany attended the CAPTIVATE Alchemy 2026 Photography competition at Caroline Chisholm College where we had five girls selected as finalists out of a pool of over a 600 entries and only 107 were exhibited as finalists! We are incredibly proud of their achievements. Their outstanding photographic work has been recognised amongst talented students from across the Diocese.
As finalists, their works were professionally printed and framed on display last night and beautifully represented the creativity of our students. They were able to take these special prints home. Congratulations to Ava, Daniella and Genevieve from Year 12 and Isabella and Sophie from Year 11. 🖼️⭐️👏
