It's not always about weak muscles...
Cruz didn't improve because we "made him stronger."
He improved because we helped his nervous system feel safe enough to unlock movement.
Your brain is constantly scanning for safety. It uses information from your Visual system, Vestibular (balance) system, Proprioceptive (body awareness) system. Along with previous injuries, compensation patterns, and past traumatic experiences, it decides how much movement, strength, stability and pain is appropriate.
If the brain senses uncertainty, it often responds with reduced stability, less range of motion, limited strength/power, poor balance and protective muscle tension that usually comes with a side of pain or discomfort 🙃
When we improve the quality of information going into the brain and reduce perceived threat, the body can adapt remarkably quickly.
That's what you're seeing in this video.
From poor stability and constant compensation… to controlled, confident movement.
The goal isn't simply to strengthen muscles, it's to help the brain trust the movement.
When your visual, vestibular and proprioceptive systems are working together, movement becomes smoother, balance improves, and your body can perform the way it was designed to.
Sometimes the body already knows how to move.
It just needs the right environment to allow it.
🎯Software first.
A lifetime of struggle street with neurological limitations from infancy that we are improving weekly in leaps and bounds using a multitude of modalities, stay tuned for more...
P.s :- the comment about we needed these videos was a joke we had from when he struggled with Bulgarian split squats... we didnt worry about filming.. CNS cleared in less then 2 minutes, perfect technique....we said we would film them next week to 'catch the change'.. but he has never returned to unstable in that movement in over 2 months 😅)
