π¦1/2 Lorikeets π¦
1/2 Lorikeets have been learning about ancient Greece and Rome through myths and legends. In the past, people told stories about Olympians and monsters to explain natural phenomena or why things happened. The people of Greece believed that the Poseidon, the god of the sea, storms and earthquakes, controlled the weather and water. When he was angry, the seas were rough and stormy, but when he felt calm, the seas were smooth and perfect for fishing.
1/2 Lorikeets have also been using their detective skills like archaeologists and historians. We examined sites and artefacts and used clues to explain what we thought they were and how they were used. Well done, Lorikeets! π
