This years theme is "Rethink your ideas" and what a brilliant theme for this year, where everything we had previously thought, and ways we operated, has been turned upside down! VET has adapted so much in the last 2 years. How exciting to see how we continue to adapt and grow.

HRD attended the R U OK?Day Virtual Launch today. Lots of great information, including not only why R U OK? Day is important but all the ways to be involved, with some great insight from some fantastic ambassadors. Cant wait to get planning on how we can be involved on 9th September, 2021!

Listening is about more than hearing what a person is saying. It's important to look out for the signs someone could be struggling.

Consider things like big changes in their life, financial difficulties, a relationship breakdown, a change in behaviour and the tone and language they are using.

By acting as ‘eyes and ears’ and reaching out to anyone who's going through a tough time we can show them they’re supported and encourage them to access help sooner. Learn more at ruok.org.au/signs
