🐬✨ Learning, Creating & Exploring with Kaylee! ✨🐬

We love seeing the amazing things our learners create! πŸ’™

In this video, Kaylee is showing us what she has been working on with her Learning Mentor, Aimee. Kaylee has been creating some adorable clay dolphins while also learning some fascinating facts about these incredible animals! 🐬🌊

It’s wonderful to see Kaylee combining creativity, learning and hands-on skills while working alongside Aimee. πŸ’•

Well done, Kaylee β€” we can’t wait to see your finished dolphins! πŸ¬πŸ‘

A little more conversation, a little more connection πŸ’¬

Know a young person who’d like to meet new people, but isn’t sure where to start?

Connect Club is a free, low-pressure weekly hangout for 12–25-year-olds at The Nest Youth Hub in central Geelong.

Young people can grab a snack, play pool, share their interests or simply hang out – no need to know anyone beforehand.

And it’s already making a difference. Every participant at the first three sessions said they had fun, connected with someone and felt welcomed and included.

Connect Club was created with young people through our Youth Social Connection Project, after they identified cost, transport, safety, anxiety and not knowing what’s available as barriers to connecting.

Now they’ve helped create something to tackle those barriers: a free, regular and welcoming place to connect.
