Melton Specialist School - ISSUE 11 - Term 3 2026 Dear Families, It is hard to believe that we are already past the halfway mark of Term 3! The days are getting longer, and there is even a little bit of warmth from the sun when we are out on our many playground, traffic and bus duties. It is a lovely reminder that spring is just around the corner!....

Today our Year 9/10 students enjoyed an interactive Airport Careers Incursion, where they explored a range of airport roles, learned about the passenger journey, and practised valuable customer service and teamwork skills through hands-on activities.
It was fantastic to see students so engaged as they explored different career pathways and developed skills for the future. Well done, everyone! 👏

🌟 Join us at Melton Specialist School for our Community Pathways Event! 🌟

This is a wonderful opportunity for students, families to connect with local organisations, explore support services, and discover pathways that promote independence, inclusion, and future opportunities.

The event will be running from 9:30am to 3:00pm. We look forward to seeing you all! ⭐️☺️

A big congratulations to our students who have achieved perfect attendance! 🎉

To celebrate their outstanding commitment to coming to school every day, students enjoyed a special Principal's Morning Tea featuring delicious pancakes with lots of yummy toppings. 🍓🍌🍫🍯

We are so proud of their dedication, positive attitude, and commitment to learning. Keep up the fantastic work! 👏🌟

We will be closed on Monday 8th June for the King’s Birthday Public Holiday 👑

There will be no classes on this day. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday!
