At Aspire Cobblebank, we are proud to provide engaging learning experiences in our Leaders room 4 year old kindergarten that support children to build confidence, develop new skills and prepare for a successful transition to school. 📚✨

🔤 Reading Eggs – supporting early literacy, phonics, letter recognition, vocabulary and a love of reading.

🔢 Mathseeds – making early mathematics fun through engaging activities that build children’s number sense, counting, problem-solving and mathematical thinking.

Our Kinder program combines play-based learning with purposeful educational experiences, allowing children to learn, explore and grow at their own pace. 🌱💛

🌈 Exploring Colours Through Sustainable Play! 🌈
Our little learners had so much fun exploring the beautiful colours !🎨💛

Educators supported children to develop their colour recognition and matching skills through a fun, hands-on learning experience. Children were encouraged to match the colourful balls with the corresponding colours, creating an exciting and engaging learning opportunity. 🌈🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣

Using sustainable and reusable resources, children explored colours while developing their concentration, visual recognition, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving, and early cognitive skills. 🌱♻️

The children were excited to identify the different colours, make connections, and proudly complete their rainbow colour matches. Their smiles and enthusiasm showed how much they enjoyed learning through play! 😊🌈

It was a wonderful way to combine sustainability, creativity, and learning while celebrating the joy of rainbow colours. 💚✨

As an extension of our Book Week celebrations, the children revisited the beautiful story Ducklings and brought the story to life through playful learning experiences.

Through storytelling, the children explored counting, number recognition, one-to-one correspondence, and quantity as they counted the little ducklings and connected numbers to the story. 🐥🐥🐥

The children had so much fun learning through imagination, repetition and hands-on play. It was wonderful to see how a favourite story can become a meaningful opportunity to build early mathematical thinking and language skills. 💛

🌿 Learning Through Play During Child Protection Week 🌿
During Child Protection Week, our children enjoyed meaningful, hands-on experiences that supported their learning, independence, and development. 💛

Through free play with sand, children explored, experimented, and learned at their own pace. Some children practised self-help skills, building confidence and independence through everyday learning experiences, while others focused on developing their fine motor skills. ✋

Using sticks to grip, draw, make marks, and write in the sand provided a fun and engaging way for children to strengthen their hand muscles, hand-eye coordination, grip, and control. 🌱

It was wonderful to see children from different age groups engaging with the same natural materials in different ways, according to their individual abilities and stages of development.

Through simple, fun experiences, children are building important skills, confidence, creativity, independence, and a sense of achievement—all while enjoying the process of discovery. 💕🌈

🌈 Move, Play & Learn in the Discover Room! 🌈

Our educators encouraged the children to stand, stretch, walk and move through a fun and colourful ball activity! 🎨⚽️

Using a paper arch with a hole as their target, the children carefully aimed the colourful balls and enjoyed watching them roll through. Along the way, they practised balance, coordination, stretching and gross motor skills while building confidence to stand and move independently.

Most importantly, the room was filled with smiles, excitement and lots of joyful moments! 💛✨

It was wonderful to see the children learning through play, enjoying the bright colours and celebrating every little success. 🌈😊

Our 4-year-old kindergarten children became little scientists today as they explored the exciting world of volcanoes! 🧪✨

With lots of curiosity, predictions and excitement, the children created their very own volcanic eruption and watched as it fizzed, bubbled and overflowed. 🌋💥

A fun, hands-on experience encouraging children to explore science, cause and effect, observation and teamwork through play-based learning. 🔍❤️

Our wonderful Kinder team in creators Room 3 year kinder enjoyed a visit to Bunnings Bunnings Warehouse Australia, gathering inspiration and exploring ideas to bring back into our learning environments. 🌱✨

The team also spent time preparing and exploring creative Father’s Day activities, getting everything ready to make the celebration special for our children and their families. 👨‍👧‍👦💙🎨
