This year's theme "𝗨𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗜𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲" highlights the fundamental right to safety, protection, and dignity for all individuals forced to flee conflict, persecution, or climate change.

Every minute 20 people leave everything behind to escape war, persecution or terror.

This day celebrates their strength and courage as they are forced to flee their home country and is an occasion to build empathy and understanding for their plight and to recognise their resilience in rebuilding their lives.

This year's theme "𝟭𝟬𝟭 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗣", focuses on the importance of visiting a doctor if something seems wrong with your physical, mental, or emotional wellbeing.

The campaign serves as a reminder to break down the barriers that prevent men from accessing healthcare and to make regular check-ups a normal, proactive part of life.

Unfortunately the 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 didn't believe under funded, over stretched and worked Neighbourhood Houses should be provided with funding to help those in our community that will need support with an online application like this.

Although not dedicated resources, only generic digital access supports, if you do need help with the online application, you could try these places:

If these don't provide the right assistance, please feel free to contact your local MPs office and outline the issues with excluding community outreach from a scheme like this and shifting the cost of any support provided to NHs and other community organisations.

This year's theme "𝗔 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀", is a reminder to take a moment to reflect on that milestone and to celebrate the million stories behind it.

Each story is unique. Each one is powerful. And together, they shape the Australia we all call home today.

This is about more than a number. One person’s journey influences the lives of many others: children, grandchildren, and future generations who leave their unique mark on our shared story. A thread in something greater; a million colourful strands woven into a rich and beautiful tapestry, shaping communities and stories we continue to tell.

As we celebrate this milestone, we also look to the future.
